Had an very weird oil leak and a pretty good mess ... O
RING failure... Must have been made on a Monday...

It's fixed now... note the expanding tube style on the
replaced return tube. It's sealed now. No leaks.

I don't know why the O RING failed but heat may have
been a factor since it looks as if the exhaust headers
may have been leaking a bit. I used some gasket adhesive
to solve that problem. I hope it does the trick now.
I'll watch the exhaust headers for a few days. and be
sure it seals properly. I think that blue stuff works
pretty well.
What incredible sunsets we have in Sacramento...

Alignment REPORT:
WOW!!!! What a difference! The car
actually feels pretty awesome and stable.
I feel like I can hit turns and know that the car will
not switch ends without notice.
The rubbing on the left rear fender has completely
ceased.
SWWWWEEEEETTT!
That is a great day for me.
THANK YOU ! G12!
Give them a call and let them know
you saw it on 74911RS.com!
(SWEET) Alignment turned up a couple of things
initially...
The ride height on the rear was
PERFECTLY LEVEL, as I thought it was... Good guess... on
my angle finder vs. Torsion bar setting. (NICE)
and
the rear left fender was a 1/2
lower than the right. (body imperfection I guess...)
The owner says he believes by setting the alignment to
-1 deg on the rear and -1/2 deg on the fronts...
will all but eliminate the slight rub on the outer
fender (left rear side).
I agreed... so we're going with
-1deg rear, -.50 deg on the fronts. We'll report back
when I have driven it again. It'll be a lot less spooky
to drive I think.
